Emma Snyder scored with an assist from Micaela Jacobs to start the scoring at 28:24 for the Mustangs. Windham proved to be a tough opponent, tying the game at 19:30 when Shyler Fielding slipped one past Mustangs Keeper Julia Gregoire.
Emma Snyder then scored her second goal, assisted by Emily Jacobs at 9:00 to end the scoring in that half.
In the second half, Micaela Jacobs (28:48) and Marissa Holt (1:05) each scored unassisted goals and the defensive adjustments made at half along with a key defensive save by Anna Snyder late in the game sealed the win for the Mustangs.
Massabesic Goalie Julia Gregoire stopped 7 of the 9 shots she faced, while Windham's netkeeper, Molly McAllister saved 6 of the 10 she faced.
Massabesic travels to rival TA to play under the lights Thursday.
